A board game based on chess, Crown Combat has new and unique pieces.

In the multiplayer mode, you and a friend take turns placing pieces, which costs you points. After spending it all up or filling the board, you can then play against your friend. The goal of this game is to capture the king, not checkmate.

In the puzzle mode, there are preset positions. As the level number gets higher, the puzzle gets more difficult.

There is a more detailed help screen ingame.

Note: As this game is in alpha, there will be many bugs. If bugs occur, you might just have to reload the page.

Yay finally made it to level 8! Good work on this game. A little nitpick would be making this game lean to black and white (ex: making the blue tile to black, and add outlines to the pieces. Like black outline for white pieces, and white outline for black pieces.) Good game though! Enjoyed it for a couple of minutes.

I appreciate the support! About your idea, would you say something like this is better?

Yeah! And also adding outlines. To make it "pop" from its tile.

Hmm...

I was thinking that if I added a white outline to black pieces, they'd look strange on white squares. The outline contains detail that will be lost on white squares if the outline on black pieces are white.

Whatever suits you to be honest.

Also, forgot to mention this, but your game has a nice concept. Good work on that!

Also Crown Combat has a nice ring to it.

Edit: nice naming 👍
